Matías Amici (Buenos Aires 1982) investigates in depth the concept of emptiness, investigating its more active and dynamic character; and its interaction with the full. In these works it is proposed to arrive at compositions of an absolute balance, in which the visual elements are constituted as something irreplaceable.
In 2005 he graduated from the Antonio Berni School of Visual Arts. In 2011 he trained in lithographic techniques at the Tamarind Institute (University of New Mexico, United States). Upon his return, he created MAGMA, a space dedicated to the production, training and dissemination of lithography in Argentina.
