Through constant research related to the study of ancient symbols, ancestral rituals, archetypal structures and manifestations of human presence throughout the centuries, Leonardo Cavalcante (Buenos Aires 1979) intends to account for the complex cultural framework that currently comprises our identity.
Degree in Visual Arts (IUNA, 2007). He has received the following awards: First Prize UNNE Visual Arts (2019), 3rd Prize National Salon of Arts (2017), Federal Prize for Contemporary Art (2016), First Prize for painting Fundación Plexo Unsat (Holz Gallery. 2012), Scholarship Unesco. III Millennium (Valencia, 2008). His individual exhibitions include: Inverted Sky (Praxis Galería -2019), Un rumor en la sangre (Quadro Galería, 2018), Brújula (Galería Schlifka Molina, 2013), Cosmography (Galería Pasto 2012), Reloj de la noche (Centro Cultural Recoleta.
